To specifically check whether or not a link is dofollow or not, you should simply right click your mouse anywhere on a site’s web template and then click on ‘view page source.’ Hold down CTRL + F and type in “nofollow.” If you see a link that was user generated and it has there nofollow tag, that means it is a nofollow website and leaving a link has little value in terms of helping get your website rank higher in the Google search engine. If rel=”nofollow” is no where to be seen, (That is what you want) you can leave your link there to help boost your search engine rankings with Google.
