Having a title that has some relevance to your post is very important when it comes to receiving new potential readers over the web. You may call your posts however you like, but keep in mind that you may have a slight disadvantage and I will tell you why.
Why Have A Relevant Title
Lets say you make a post about how to kick flip backwards, but you want to call it, Crazy Dude Doing Some Cool Trick. Would one who want to learn how to kick flip backwards search for Crazy Dude Doing Some Cool Trick when they think about learning how to kick flip backwards?Definitely not. Think about it, would someone who wants to learn how to do a kick flip, search up Crazy Dude Doing Some Cool Trick on their first attempt or How to do a Kick Flip Backwards? It’s all about being as descriptive as you can and using engaging words when it comes to being found through the search engine.
Responsibilities of Titles
- Titles are automatically inserted in the search engine once it is crawled and it will use that same title name from your post to redirect readers.
- Depending on the quality of the title, it can attract more pageviews and readers.
- In the search engine, the only thing that seperates you from your readers is your tiny description and your title.
- Have descriptive titles like, Google announces a new Internet browser called Google Chrome instead of New Internet Browser called Google Chrome.
- Don’t use broad words, use more descriptive words.
- Use valuable keywords in your titles that people over the web would type to find your post.
- Use attractive wording like, the elephant ate a dog in 10 seconds than elephant ate dog. (An elephant never ate a dog, I made it up so, you can see the comparison.)
