No one has time to build backlinks, why can’t links be given to us within a snap of the fingers? These are some of the complaints that I have been hearing lately. Why can’t money be given to us for free, where no man goes hungry. Why? These are the same skeptics of why can’t there be a shortcut for link building. If the world was work free, everyone one would be in the same ladder, and this applies to search engines too.

What if there was a shortcut. A shortcut where you can generate thousands or possibly millions of backlinks within a flick of the wrist, and rank high for keywords of any one of your choosing. There is really a simple explanation, really, even if it’s just a fantasy of yours, it just can’t happen. First off, the search engine’s main purpose would be to promote the most popular sites for certain keywords, and if you were able to obtain the ability to choose a key word of your liking, it would apply to everyone as well, and it will practically destroy the whole entire concept of using a search engine like Google in the first place. As things are in life, you have to earn it to get to the top, and in the eyes of ranking high in search engines, it requires relentless work. Search engines are to pull out the most prominent sites for searched up keywords, and search engines will always stay that way.

The main purpose of link building is to get ranked higher, but why do the search engines use such a technique to decide who is ranked first or third? Think of the search engine as a person pulling out the best possible results. If you were to recommend a friend about a movie, would you tell them about a site that has only information of the movie or a site that has both information and critic ratings of the movie? Of course the one with more helpful contents. It applies to search engines too. The search engines is like a measurement of popularity, it is decided by how many reasonable links you get, and if you have helpful content, you are more likely to get promoted.
The True Shortcut to Link Building, Quality Links
Although your hopes of getting instantaneous results may seem it is practically impossible, there is always an exception, but however, isn’t an easy one to obtain. As in life if you were promoted from a high ups men, you would be promoted with some authority right? This applies with Google’s search engine algorithm as well. This is where Google’s page rankings begins to play with your mind. Each site is constructed of a page rank that represents the site’s popularity within a scale of 0 to 10, and basically if you subdue a link from a higher authority site, you are bond to getting partial credit for obtaining a link back from a higher authority site. In other words, a site with a higher page rank than you that follows the dofollow link speculations, it is considered page rank juice that can possibly lift up your own site’s rankings. In other words, your site and your pages from your website will have more “authority” over the search engines than if you were not to get promoted from a higher ups men. In terms of sites with some authority in the page rank scale, Google likes to call this, quality links.
