Paid posts is considered to be one of the candidates for being an opportunity for blog owners to get paid a flat rate for a post promoting one of their advertisers from their company, but is it really worth doing compared to promoting affiliates?

Why Promoting Affiliates is Better Than Promoting Paid Posts

You may agree with me, or you might disagree with me about affiliates being the better product to getting the most fundamental earnings. Here are some typical reasons as to why promoting affiliates is better than promoting paid posts to back up my thesis.

  • Paid posts are limited to only earning a flat fee. Let’s say you are paid $5 to post about cars, the only payment you will receive because of the post will be $5.
  • Promoting affiliates is better usage of a blog post rather than promoting advertisers with a paid post.
  • With promoting affiliates, you have unlimited capabilities of earning anything at anytime of date. Which means, you can earn from a old blog post with an affiliate link that dated back 1 year ago. Your sales will only increase as paid posts will only be standing still.
  • With affiliates, you are in control of your earnings and usually it takes one sale to be able to check out as with paid posts, it can take as many as 20.
  • Some affiliates offer extra bonus incentives when you make a certain amount of sales. The more sales you make via through your referral link, the more closer you are to getting a raise.

In conclusion, affiliates have the ability to expand and only grow in number of sales and profits as paid posts act only as a rock on a number line, and only stay the same. In long terms, affiliate earnings will always be the way to go compared to paid posts earnings, and will always be until companies supporting paid posts find a better way for publishers to earn even more with paid posts to compete with affiliate earnings.
