The Internet is a fantastic way to build an internationally strong relationship with a large amount of viewers. Reason being why it is called Internet marketing right? But reason why customer interaction is such an important aspect of Internet marketing is because loyal customers are the ones that help make your business succeed, whether you be operating an eCommerce site, be involved in email marketing, or blogging, building up customer relations is a valued aspect of Internet marketing, that you must have. With today’s economic downturn, likability in a business is a must because don’t forget, customers are what makes your business, a successful business.

Have you ever been to the mall and wanted to buy something, a pair of shoes, jeans, whatever, but customer service was simply dreadful that you wouldn’t shop there anymore? This applies to Internet marketing as well. Nothing turns down customers faster than a rude, demanding attitude. Ideally this method of monetizing, is sort of like charging for informative content except the difference is that it is split into phases of email marketing. It would sound preposterous if I charged per content wouldn’t it? The idea is the same with email marketing but because everything is done in intervals, customers lose the sense that when they are buying an ebook, it is like buying to read content. A strategy where customers lose the sense of time. But before all this, everything lies flat out on customer trust and builds from there.

Key to why good customer interaction is such an important aspect of Internet marketing, is that in the long run, your business benefits from them. Have you ever needed to repair your computer to some computer technician, to find that his service was simply incredible that you had to recommend them to your friends? The idea is practically the same except with Internet’s widely used social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Digg, chances are, any given opportunity can be a chance to gain free publicity. Think of all the people you gave valuable customer service to and one happened to stand out and have a full blown social networking account with 1,000 active mutual friends, you can already see the potential of your story gaining viral publicity if a customer is really that appreciative. In today’s modern online technology, it isn’t odd to see if your story did get shared among social networking friends. Don’t over think social networking sites because there are actually legitimate people out there that actually use it for it’s sole purpose of self interest, to interact with people alike and not for self gain.

Another one of the greater aspects of why building up trust and loyalty, is that they will listen to what you say next. If you happen to manage a list of 50 emails, but they were active participants and they followed you for the sole reason of them thinking your a very clever person, you can easily dig out a couple of sales, possibly repeatedly, if you know what your doing. In essence, it is not really about the quantity of a email list, but rather, the quality of it. If you can sustain customer likability and professionalism in a way that keeps your email subscribers in tact, your bound to making multiple sales from loyal subscribers. Think of it like, your really obsessed with a certain music artist but even though their latest album isn’t so great, you buy it anyways because your a die hard fan. Being a valued email subscriber have about the same similarities. The record companies are doing what email marketers are sort of doing, appealing to likability and selling products off it to make money.

In business, as in life, everything builds from relationships. Key to really succeeding on the web or in life in general, is really your attitude and how you appeal to your customers. It may sound a bit cheeky, but it is the truth.
