Content Submit WordPress Plugin Review

Let’s face it. WordPress is the most widely used open-source platform when it comes to creating a blog. This in turn tells us that WordPress is both a powerful and flexible blogging platform that simply delivers. However, there are some limitations to WordPress that still makes the process of guest posting rough.

Creating a blog should be fun, easy to use, and should be an engaging experience for both the reader and the blog writer – this should be likewise true with guest posting. If you have ran your own blog before, you would know that many times guest bloggers collaborate and write guest entries to each others’ blogs, and Pawel Reszka realizes that. As a result, he has come up with his very own plugin called the, Content Submit Plugin, which simplifies the process of guesting posting.

You may be asking yourself, why would I need this plugin? The answer is simple. It allows users to generate content for you and the more content you have, the more traffic you can potentially get plus you can free up some of your time. If you allow people to guest post on your blog then this would be a great tool to help you simplify the process and be able to monetize off the free content that was contributed for free. This means you can essentially increase your revenue and make money online.

Here is a screen shot of what the Content Submit Plugin has to offer.

As you can see, the Content Submit plugin was built with the idea of time efficiency when it comes to guest posting and even offers blog owners some nifty controls over how they would like guest posting to be on their blog. With the Content Submit Plugin, you can:

  1. Charge for content submission (integrated with Paypal). Simply enter your paypal email address and how much you want to charge per post.
  2. Copyscape API compatible. Here you just enter your copyscape username and the API key. When someone submits a post to your blog the plugin will check if the content is indexed somewhere else.
  3. Show Captcha to prevent abuse of the system.
  4. Set default post status to Pending or Published. I recommend setting it to Pending unless you really want it to go live right away.
  5. Set minimum and maximum number of words allowed per post.
  6. Set how many urls is allowed per post.
  7. Exclude categories where people can submit posts
  8. You can also set your own “Submit” image and paypal payment button

You can download the Content Submit Plugin here for free.

In conclusion, this plugin is a great way to entice new guest posters without having the inconvenience of having to email one another. And best of all, the plugin is easy to use, convenient, and free.

great review… one question, is guest writer need to register to the site before use this plugin features?

No. The guest writer only needs to submit their post through a simple form and once submitted, the post goes directly to the admin as a “pending post.”

I completely agree with you there Michael. An internal linking strategy is a good strategy to have. That’s one thing that most bloggers could focus on just a bit more.
